Veterans Day Bravery, courage, patriotism, and sacrifice. These argon the reasons we acknowledge our old stagers. A veteran is a man or a women who entertain served, and stay serving every sidereal day. We truly owe everything to our veterans. My uncle Harlen happened to be one of them. He was 23 years old when he got a letter in the mail saying, Your friends and neighbors have selected you which meant he was being drafted to the Korean war. He served from January 1951 to December 1953. He evoke the worst part of the war was just being in that location and being on the front line.

Harlen had to go to Fort Riley, Kansas for 8 weeks of training w indeed to San Antonio for 6 weeks of medical training hence he got to go sign for 10 days hence he went overseas and arrive in Japan and went to Inshan Korea. He was overseas for 18 months. To me I feel my uncle is a hoagie. wherefore is he a hero though? He is a hero because even though he really didnt unavoidableness to g o to war he did it because he knew it was the right thing to do. So, why is veterans day so well(p)?
